The Real Sound of Soul

Treat the following as an introduction to me and an invitation to join me in my complex web of fun and music. Come into my parlour…
My music 'career' began with me spinning discs at my school friends' parties. I went on to become an operator/selector for a local sound, Trinity Rockers, whilst simultaneously 'working' as a presenter on a series of unlicensed radio stations - Faze 1 FM, Switch FM, Rock 2 Rock and PowerJam. Since then I've caught up with the times and worked on internet stations; Jam1Online, Melody One and Sounds Of Urban London Radio.
I use my shows to highlight the works of independent artists and labels, especially (but not exclusively) within the genres of Hip Hop & R'n'B, from home and abroad. Signed or unsigned is unimportant, what matters to me is the quality of the music. If it moves me, it makes it on to the show as a featured track.
If you think your music fits the bill or you’re a fan of a little known act and want to put me on to it, please get in contact with me by e-mail letting me know how I can get hold of the material plus any relevant info, e.g. name of artist(s), date of release, tour dates, etc., and I will get back to you letting you know when the track(s) will be played.
If you want to know any more about me, you can see what I have to say for myself by following my tweets. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
One love, Spy!
